Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is responsible for driving membership growth and retention. The Membership Committee will deliver membership data and updates to Board members at each Board of Directors meeting. The Membership Committee will work with the Programs Committee, when needed, on events such as the Corporate Roundtable and with the Community Outreach Committee and Programs Committee on specific events intended to drive membership growth and retention such as the MARC Summer baseball events held in past years.
Programs Committee
The Programs Committee is responsible for budgeting, planning, organizing and managing a number of designated events throughout the calendar year. These designated events are typically determined during a planning meeting held at the end of each preceding year.
All MARC events under the responsibility of the Programs Committee are primarily designed to educate, inspire and engage members, potential members and guests, as well as provide for networking, sharing of knowledge and ideas, as may be permitted based on external conditions or limiting factors that are outside of the direct control of MARC.
With support from the Board of Directors and Advisory Council, the Programs Committee is made up of a select and diverse group of knowledgeable and dedicated MARC members with a single focus of ensuring MARC delivers excellent and relevant meeting content and meaningful and memorable experiences for all.
Sponsorship Committee
The Sponsorship Committee is responsible for driving sponsorship participation by maintaining sponsor packages that provide value to MARC sponsors and by promoting these opportunities to members who have sponsored MARC in the past as well as new members who would like to participate. The Sponsorship Committee is responsible for making any recommended changes to sponsorship package benefits, if any, to the MARC Board on an annual basis. The Committee will work with the Communications Committee to ensure all Sponsor logos are updated annually on the website and to communicate appropriate Sponsor recognition. The Sponsorship Committee will be responsible for updating logos on all printed signage, ordering new printed signage, and making sure all appropriate signage is brought to, set up and taken down at all MARC events. When appropriate Sponsor recognition slides are needed by the Programs Committee to include in powerpoint presentations at MARC events, either in person or online, the Sponsorship Committee will provide updated slides. The Sponsorship Committee will work with the Treasurer to confirm all Sponsor dues are paid by the deadline and prior to incurring costs on new signage.
